Thirsty Thursday!
This weeks edition: Hop Notch by Uinta Brewing Company
Cost: $8.59 (Stinker Station)
I bought it because I’ve never heard of it. That’s a pretty typical thing in my beer buying adventures. I wouldn’t say i really won in this adventure, however I didn’t lose either. It’s a pretty run on the mill IPA. Finishes relatively strong, but it seems like it does so in a bit malty way. The real goal on this beer purchasing excursion was so we had something to drink while attempting to beat Portal 2 on co-op. We didn’t accomplish this by the way. I really cool thing about this brew is it is made in SLC. Just kidding, that’s not really why it’s cool. Their brewery is powered by solar and wind power…so it’s green. This beer is green, but not in the literal sense. Anyway, it’s a 7.3 ABV, and I can’t find anything on it’s IBUs. So, If you’re a green enthusiast give it a whirl.
Cheers!
